Services

At Ad Iron Fitness in downtown Vancouver, we create fitness programs for people of all ages, genders, colours, and flavours, including the LGBTQ+ community. Our specialty areas in fitness include functional training, weight loss, hypertrophy (muscle gain), rehab, people with disabilities, and more.

We are certified personal trainers who pride ourselves on providing our clients with a holistic approach. Our personal and semi-private training services come with carefully designed workout plans accessible through our app. You will find your program in real-time and be able to record stats as you progress on your fitness journey.

We have the answers if you're wondering what exercises are right for you and unsure where to start. First, we want to know who you are and where you are starting from so we can support you in achieving your goals and maintaining a consistent gym routine.

We offer a free consultation session to get started or to find out what might be the right fit for you. Just fill out the form online, and we will contact you to set up our first in-person meeting.

OUR SPECIALTY AREAS OF FITNESS

FUNCTIONAL TRAINING

Functional training is focused on compound movements and mobility exercises to improve the kinetics of your body for everyday life and more. If you are someone who loves to adventure—enjoying activities such as climbing mountains, jumping in oceans and running on the seawall—then functional training is an excellent way to keep your body healthy for your lifestyle. Functional training is recommended for everyone; regardless of your age or athletic ability.

HYPERTROPHY (MUSCLE GAIN)

If your goal is to work out to look good, then we’ve got you covered. Our programs can be tailored to improve your shape and tone, lose body fat and build solid mass. We have experience turning twinks into muscle studs and dad bods into silver foxes. Physique and bodybuilding are also for the ladies. Regardless of your gender or identity, we can help build the body of your dreams.

WEIGHTLOSS

We believe the best approach to weight loss is a combination of weightlifting, cardio, balanced nutrition, and a positive mindset. If you are lacking in any or more of these areas, we recommend working with a trainer to guide, support, and hold you accountable to your goals.

GYMNASTICS & CALISTHENICS (BODYWEIGHT STRENGTH)

If your goal is to gain strength and balance, build lean muscle and get an iron core through strict bodyweight movements, we can help you. We are trained to teach everything from regular push-ups and pull-ups to handstand push-ups, muscle-ups, handstand walks and more.

REHAB/DISABILITIES

Are you dealing with pain or discomfort or do you have a severe injury or disability that limits your mobility? Our trainers are experienced with people of all levels of mobility, including working with people in wheelchairs, long-term injuries, cerebral palsy, and more. Our programs are customized to address your needs and provide a mix of necessary and fun activities to help you progress on your fitness journey.

HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING

High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is an excellent way to burn extra calories to help you tone your body and has added health benefits such as increasing your endurance and decreasing your resting heart rate. Our programs often incorporate HIIT when our client’s goal is to lose weight, tone up and power through challenging workouts. Also great training for all the cardio junkies out there: HIIT is an excellent way to build strength endurance so you get the added benefits of lifting weight while being in your zone.

OLYMPIC WEIGHTLIFTING

Olympic Weightlifting is an excellent way to build strength and power in a sports environment. With the goal to get you to your heaviest Snatch and Clean and Jerk, we offer programs for beginners to intermediate levels.

POWERLIFTING

Powerlifting is an excellent way to build strength and power in a sports environment. With the goal to get you to your heaviest Bench Press, Deadlift and Squat we offer programs for beginners to intermediate levels.
